What a nice shot. I miss seeing these at the woodpecker feeder. The starlings devour the suet in mere minutes so not much point in refilling until they go away again.
Took me forever to learn the difference between the Downy and the Hairy; the Hairy being larger I believe. Now I'm confused again.
Hi Sande, what a wonderful shot of this bird! I usually don't have great luck when trying to capture one on film..they are never still enough for me!
Do you consume your vegetable garden, or does your vegetable garden consume you?
