Hi Sande, your raised beds will produce wonderful flowers/vegetables with that great mix! I've found something called mushroom soil and man, does that do wonders too! My husband just built me an amazing compost bin so next year I'll have lots of good compost to add :) Thanks for visiting my garden. Bandit is my little shadow and has been with me for 4 years..he is definitely spoiled rotten..lol.
I spend way too much time on this blogging thing--but I hadn't yet checked your blog out. Just look what I was missing. Someday--I will get better compost action going. For now--I'll enjoy your frogs and turtles. Like you--if I take the camera to the woods on their walks--I take all these pictures of things I think are neat. Sigh. When my daughter was rounding up pictures for her graduation scrapbook I asked her to look in my folder--I'm embarrassed to say that her reply was "But mom..there's not hardly any of us--they all just plants and birds." And believe me, I'm not up to any skill level near bird photography!!
