The koi were sucking on the fingers of my two granddaughters. Very fun for them. The nursery owners had the koi trained to do that before they fed them.
Was fascinated by your kaleidoscope photos - what fun. Looks like it's a great time of year in your neck of the woods too - between the seed starting inside, gardening outside and great weather for road and field trips - there's lots of good stuff to post. Welcome to Blotanical!
Hi Sande, thanks v much for your comments on the blog.The crown flower is a particularly strange one!..I am not really a specialist, just doing a course in botanical painting at the moment which means I have to tame my rather wilder watercolour side. You have some fabulous photographs I particularly like the teasels!
The Koi looks like an impressionist painting. But I like the butterfly getting teaseled better.
